Community Grief Circle

This drop-in group is open to anyone experiencing grief, ages 18+.
Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, or an identity, grief can be an isolating and overwhelming process. Our grief circles offer an opportunity to connect with others and grieve in a communal, safe, and nonjudgmental setting. Our facilitators are trained in Mindful Grieving Practices, a somatic and embodied approach to healing.

- A small intimate container
- Guided mindful meditation
- A short journaling opportunity
- Sacred Share Circle
- Integration meditation to ground us and close our container

The Mindful Grieving 6-Week Program is a powerful introduction to the essential components of this somatic-based approach to grieving in the collective. The program offers an intimate, safe container for emotions to be felt, expressed, shared, and healed.

Stephanie Bossy, MA, MFA, LMFT
Individual Therapist and Grief Circle Facilitator
Stephanie holds an MA in Integral Counseling Psychology, an MFA in Creative Writing, and a 200-hour Yoga teacher training certificate. She is a certified Mindful Grieving Facilitator. She brings a background in holistic healing practices through her work as a psychotherapist and a yoga teacher. She is the owner of Bossy Marriage and Family Therapy, Inc.
Stephanie believes in a holistic approach to the healing arts. Her work is informed by Gestalt, transpersonal, and somatic psychology. Stephanie is a biracial, able-bodied, queer cis-gendered woman from a lower middle class background. Learn more about Stephanie's work here.
